Gerry was more than a dad, a husband, a brother and a great friend- he was an educator, an athlete, a coach, and an avid fisherman. He was an advocate, a difference maker and a hero. Through his last few weeks with us, he continued to teach. He taught us how to fight like hell and love fiercely with every breath he had left in him. Parkinson's Disease may have tried to limit his abilities and his time here with us, but it will never overshadow the amazing life he made for himself, for our family and for the many lives he impacted along the way - he packed in more than a lifetime of adventures and accomplishments in his 77 years. 

While many hearts are broken right now, Gerry wants us to focus on the joy. To celebrate all of the good, share memories and hilarious stories. He, once again, reminds us to cast a line, take the shot, laugh out loud and enjoy every moment!
